G2 Athletics Sports Club

Our policies are reviewed on a weekly and monthly basis to ensure they align with best practices and provide the highest level of support for all participants and members. As a result, updates and changes may occur accordingly. We encourage all members to review policies regularly, as any modifications will take immediate effect.

Refund policy:

Due to the unrecoverable nature of program related expenses, and limited spaces for programming, all sales are considered final and non-refundable. 

Refund requests should be sent to [email protected] and contain the athlete’s name, phone number and supportive documentation. Requests will be considered at the discretion of G2 athletics and in the event a refund is granted, an administrative fee of $99 + service fees will be deducted from the settled amount. 

Privacy Notice: 

This privacy notice discloses the privacy practices for (www.g2athletics.com). This privacy notice applies solely to information collected by this website. It will notify you of the following:

  1. What personally identifiable information is collected from you through the website, how it is used and with whom it may be shared.
  2. What choices are available to you regarding the use of your data.
  3. The security procedures in place to protect the misuse of your information.
  4. How you can correct any inaccuracies in the information.

We request information from you on our order form. To buy from us, you must provide contact information (like name and shipping address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we’ll use this information to contact you.

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing –
We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.

We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to ship an order.

Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.

Your Access to and Control Over Information –
You may opt out of any future contacts from us at any time. You can do the following at any time by contacting us via the email address or phone number given on our website:

  • See what data we have about you, if any.
  • Change/correct any data we have about you.
  • Have us delete any data we have about you.

Security 
We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.

Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in the address bar and looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the Web page.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

G2 ATHLETICS TEAM CODE OF CONDUCT

At G2 ATHLETICS, we are committed to fostering a positive, respectful, and safe environment for all athletes, coaches, and families. By being part of this program, all participants agree to uphold the following standards:

1. Respect & Sportsmanship

  • Treat teammates, coaches, referees, and opponents with respect at all times.
  • Refrain from negative behaviour such as name-calling, gossiping, or unsportsmanlike conduct.
  • Respect all coaching decisions, including playing time, positions, and strategy.

2. Commitment & Responsibility

  • Attend all practices, games, and team events on time and prepared.
  • Notify the coach in advance if unable to attend a session.
  • Wear the appropriate team attire and bring required equipment.

3. Zero Tolerance for Bullying or Harassment

  • Any form of bullying, discrimination, or harassment (physical, verbal, or online) is strictly prohibited.
  • Report any concerns to a coach, team administrator, or program director immediately.

4. Parent & Spectator Expectations

  • Encourage and support all athletes positively.
  • Avoid coaching from the sidelines or engaging in negative behavior toward officials, coaches, or other parents.
  • Follow proper communication channels for concerns, addressing coaches privately and respectfully.

5. Social Media & Communication

  • Refrain from posting negative or inappropriate content about the program, team, teammates, coaches or staff.
  • Any communication with minors must follow program guidelines (no private messaging from coaches to athletes without parent involvement).

6. Disciplinary Actions

Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in the following consequences:

  • Verbal Warning – A discussion with the athlete, parent, or coach.
  • Written Warning – Formal documentation of the issue.
  • Suspension – Temporary removal from practices or games.
  • Removal from Program – In severe cases, permanent dismissal from G2 Athletics Program.

Child Safeguarding & Athlete Protection

G2 Athletics is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and positive environment for all athletes. We adhere to the guidelines and policies set forth by Volleyball BC (VBC), including their Child Protection Policy, Abuse Prevention Policy, and the Universal Code of Conduct to Prevent and Address Maltreatment in Sport (UCCMS).

All coaches who are Volleyball BC members are required to comply with these policies, ensuring the highest standards of athlete safety and well-being. Any concerns regarding athlete welfare should be reported in accordance with Volleyball BC’s procedures.

MEMBERSHIP & PARTICIPATION POLICY

1. Eligibility for Participation

To participate in any G2 Athletics program, including practices, events, tournaments, and games, athletes must meet the following requirements:

  • Financial Standing: All program fees, dues, and payments must be up to date. Athletes with outstanding balances will not be eligible to participate until their account is settled.
  • Compliance with Policies: All participants (athletes and parents/guardians) must agree to and follow the G2 Athletics Code of Conduct and Child Safeguarding Policy.
  • Commitment to Attendance: Athletes are expected to attend scheduled practices, games, and events unless excused in advance. Excessive absences may impact eligibility.
  • Medical Clearance: If required, athletes must provide medical clearance for participation and inform the program of any health concerns that may affect their ability to play.

2. Behavioural Expectations

To maintain a positive and professional team environment, all members (coaches, athletes, parents, and spectators) are expected to:

  • Communicate respectfully with coaches, staff, and other participants.
  • Follow all team guidelines, event schedules, and program expectations.
  • Refrain from any form of disruptive, aggressive, or inappropriate behavior, including verbal abuse, intimidation, or public complaints that negatively affect the program.
  • Maintain ethical, professional, or safety standards,
  • Refrain from making negative, misleading, or disparaging remarks about G2 Athletics, its staff, athletes, or programs, whether in person, online, or in any public or private forum.
  • Adhere to all rules set forth by Volleyball BC, tournament organizers, and facility operators.

3. Right to Refuse Service & Program Participation

G2 Athletics strives to maintain a positive and productive environment for all athletes, families, and staff. If at any point the relationship between a parent, guardian, or participant and G2 Athletics becomes strained due to ongoing conflicts, individual’s behaviour is deemed disruptive, inappropriate, or negatively impacts the team environment, misalignment with program values, or excessive disputes, we reserve the right to discontinue participation.

Grounds for refusal or removal include but are not limited to:

  • Failure to Meet Eligibility Requirements: Including non-payment of fees or failure to submit required documentation.
  • Violation of Code of Conduct: Any athlete or parent found to be in repeated violation of team policies.
  • Disruptive or Aggressive Behaviour: Including disrespect toward coaches, staff, officials, or other participants.
  • Negative Impact on Team Culture: Any actions that compromise the safety, integrity, or positive culture of G2 ATHLETICS.
  • Inappropriate or Excessive Demands: Such as unreasonable reimbursement requests, failure to respect program policies, or attempts to undermine team operations.

Decisions regarding removal or refusal of service will be at the discretion of G2 Athletics leadership. No refunds will be issued in cases of removal due to misconduct or failure to adhere to policies.

4. Appeals & Reinstatement

Any participant removed from the program may submit a written appeal for reinstatement. Appeals will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by G2 Athletics leadership, and a final decision will be communicated in writing.

5. Tournament, Event & Practice Schedule Disclaimer & Policy

At G2 Athletics, we strive to provide a structured and consistent training environment for our athletes. However, all practice times, tournament schedules, and event dates are subject to change due to factors such as facility availability, weather conditions, league adjustments, and other unforeseen circumstances.

While we make every effort to communicate changes in a timely manner, it is the responsibility of athletes and families to stay updated through official G2 Athletics communication channels. We appreciate your flexibility and commitment to the program as we work to provide the best possible experience for all participants.
